REL Custom Doors & Trim is a one-man operation built on over 30 years of hands-on experience in the trade. I specialize in doors, trim, cabinetry, and finish work, along with interior and exterior repairs and remodeling—all completed with a strong focus on detail and doing things right the first time.
I come from a family-owned business background and have worked in nearly every part of the construction industry—from concrete and framing to finish work—across both residential and commercial projects. That experience includes work on major builds like Fiserv Forum and 3rd Street Market Hall. I’ve also spent time as a carpentry instructor at a local technical college, which has shaped the way I approach quality, detail, and problem-solving.

Initial Consultation
The process starts by reaching out by phone, email, or through the contact form on this site with a description of your project. From there, I schedule an in-person meeting to review the work firsthand.
During the consultation, we’ll go over the scope, any problem areas, and the best approach to get everything done right. After the visit, I’ll provide an estimate along with next steps to move forward.
Design & Approval
After the initial consultation, I review the project details and determine the best approach to ensure everything fits and finishes correctly. If needed, we’ll go over layout adjustments, material choices, and any custom solutions required.
Once everything is clearly defined, I’ll provide a detailed estimate. When approved, we move forward with scheduling and preparation for the project.
Build & Management
All work is completed and managed directly by me from start to finish. This ensures consistency, attention to detail, and clear communication throughout the project.
I handle every step of the build, keeping the work clean, organized, and moving forward efficiently while making sure everything is done right.
Final Walkthrough
Once the project is complete, we’ll walk through everything together to make sure it meets expectations and is finished properly. I take the time to ensure all details are right and that you’re satisfied with the final result before considering the job complete.
